Mens Singles All England Preview
The tournament features top-seeded Viktor Axelsen of Denmark, who is the defending champion, taking on Lee Cheuk Yiu of Hong Kong China in the opening match of the tournament. Axelsen will be looking to get his campaign off to a strong start and continue his impressive form from last year’s tournament.
In another exciting match-up, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia, seeded third, will face off against Thailand’s Kantaphon Wangcharoen. Ginting has been in good form recently and will be looking to make a statement with a win over his Thai opponent.
Another interesting match-up is between Denmark’s Anders Antonsen and his compatriot Rasmus Gemke. Antonsen is seeded sixth and will be one of the players to watch out for in the tournament. Gemke, on the other hand, will be looking to cause an upset and advance to the next round.

In other matches, Germany’s Yvonne Li faces Malaysia’s Go Jin Wei, China’s Wang Zhi Yi takes on Japan’s Saena Kawakami, and China’s Han Yue meets Singapore’s Yeo Jia Min. Chen Yu Fei from China, the fourth seed, plays Canada’s Michelle Li, while Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara takes on Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong. Finally, Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon, the eighth seed, plays compatriot Lalinrat Chaiwan, and Indonesia’s Gregoria Mariska Tunjung meets Denmark’s Line Højmark Kjaersfeldt.
Mens Doubles
The men’s doubles category promises to be a thrilling competition at the All England Badminton Championships 2023.
