Mens Singles

Mens Doubles

In the first match of the day, Lee Jhe-Huei and Yang Po-Hsuan from Chinese Taipei defeated the French duo of Christo and Toma Junior Popov in a thrilling three-set match that lasted an hour. The French pair started strong by taking the first set 22-20, but the Chinese Taipei pair bounced back in the next two sets, winning 21-17, 21-13 to claim victory.

The second match of the day featured an upset as Malaysian pair Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi, seeded eighth, defeated the Chinese Taipei pair of Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin in three sets. The Malaysian pair lost the first set 12-21 but made a strong comeback, winning the next two sets 21-16, 21-18 to secure their place in the next round.

The Indonesian duo of Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Bagas Maulana also caused an upset by defeating the Korean pair of Kim Gi Jung and Kim Sa Rang in three sets. The Indonesians won the first set 21-15, but lost the second set 13-21 before bouncing back to win the third set 21-16.

In the fourth match of the day, fourth-seeded Japanese pair Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi dominated the all-Japanese match against Keiichiro Matsui and Yoshinori Takeuchi, winning in straight sets 21-12, 21-14.

The Danish duo of Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, seeded seventh, were pushed to the limit in their match against German pair Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seidel. The Danes lost the first set 18-21 but managed to come back and win the next two sets 21-14, 21-17 to claim victory in a match that lasted over an hour.

In the final match of the day, Chinese pair He Ji Ting and Zhou Hao Dong defeated the Chinese Taipei pair of Lu Ching Yao and Yang Po Han in straight sets 21-10, 21-12.

Womens Doubles

The number one seeds from China, CHEN Qing Chen and JIA Yi Fan, had a comfortable win over the Japanese pair of Rin IWANAGA and Kie NAKANISHI, winning 21-11, 21-13 in just 37 minutes.

The Danish duo of Maiken FRUERGAARD and Sara THYGESEN faced a tough challenge from the Dutch pair of Debora JILLE and Cheryl SEINEN, but managed to come out on top in a grueling match that lasted 1 hour and 8 minutes. The final score was 21-18, 21-23, 21-16 in favor of the Danes.

The sixth-seeded Korean pair of KIM So Yeong and KONG Hee Yong had a dominant performance against the German duo of Linda EFLER and Isabel LOHAU, winning 21-11, 21-3 in just 29 minutes.

The Chinese Taipei pair of LEE Chia Hsin and TENG Chun Hsun defeated the Bulgarian sisters Gabriela and Stefani STOEVA in a close match, winning 21-19, 21-16 in 31 minutes.

The third-seeded Chinese pair of ZHANG Shu Xian and ZHENG Yu had a comfortable win over the Japanese pair of Rui HIROKAMI and Yuna KATO, winning 21-11, 21-12 in just 33 minutes.

The French duo of Margot LAMBERT and Anne TRAN faced a tough challenge from the Malaysian pair of Vivian HOO and LIM Chiew Sien, but managed to come out on top in a match that lasted 1 hour and 6 minutes. The final score was 21-19, 18-21, 21-15 in favor of the French.

The Japanese pair of Mayu MATSUMOTO and Wakana NAGAHARA defeated the Malaysian pair of Pearly TAN and THINAAH Muralitharan in a close match that lasted 55 minutes. The final score was 21-13, 15-21, 21-15 in favor of the Japanese.

Finally, the English duo of Chloe BIRCH and Lauren SMITH had a comfortable win over the American pair of Srivedya GURAZADA and Ishika JAISWAL, winning 21-9, 21-18 in 28 minutes.
